ARE MY PASSION

The perfect balance of practical and creative skills

With a strong background in music production and audio/visual product development, naturally the next logical step in my career was to move into filmmaking and cinematography!

Regularly lighting and shooting numerous short films, commercials, TV sizzlers and show reels, I am constantly building on and improving my skill set – Culminating in the multi-award-winning action feature “The Take Down” (Best Independent Feature, NY film festival 2018), I am also regularly involved in commercial studio work for high-street fashion brands.

During the quieter period for filming (among many other activities) that began in March 2020, I dedicated some time to getting up to speed with Virtual Production techniques using real-time renderers and game engines. This led to a renewed interest in 3D graphics, VR and straight down the rabbit hole of programming shaders, coding C++ and OpenGL – more details on this can be found on the SIDE PROJECTS page.

Moving into film has really given me the opportunity to bring together both my practical and creative skills in ways I had never imagined and I’m always looking forward to the next challenge!
